Pauline Boulerice
Pauline Boulerice was a stay-at-home mom in St. Albans until her five kids got older. She started working, including jobs at the elementary school and eventually IBM.
Her son Michael Boulerice says his mom was devoted to her religion, and basketball.
"We played ball in school and gosh, we really had a true love of basketball. She watched every game, and then as she got older, didn’t miss a Celtics game and knew more about the Celtics than I did. It’s true that we were a snowmobiling family years ago, and my mom had her own snow machine and whatnot. And we would take off with her and try and lose her, and she always kept up with us. She was all about her family and her religion and her faith. And again, very good person, from beginning to end. We're proud of her. Didn't win any Academy Awards, didn't win the Nobel Peace Prize, you know, wasn't involved in politics, any of that stuff. She just was a good mother."
Pauline Boulerice died on Jan. 9, 2021 at Holiday House Residential Care Home in St. Albans. She was 87.
