Vermont can lead the way of being a bright beacon of hope, compassion, kindness and love to others around the world so there will be no need of fighting ever.
My dad was an active National Guard soldier at the time and he so desperately wanted to serve his country that day. Because he had cancer, he was limited on serving his country. My dad did experience a loss. He felt disconnected on serving his country in a meaningful way when he wanted to do so very badly. The events that day changed my dad's view and my family's view that the United States of America is not immune to terrorist threats. We need to bolster our defenses and protect everyone we can that we love and cherish throughout Vermont and the United States of America in general. We need to continue with a dialogue of trying to make peace throughout the United States of America to the world and Vermont can lead the way of being a bright beacon of hope, compassion, kindness and love to others around the world so there will be no need of fighting ever.
